Hawks get rained out in Spokane, will play two seven-inning games on Saturday

The Boise Hawks game against the Spokane Indians at Avista Stadium on Thursday has been postponed due to weather.

The game will be rescheduled for Saturday, June 22. The Hawks and Indians will play two seven-inning games that day. Game 1 will start at 6:30 p.m. (MT), with Game 2 following approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first one.

It is a minor league doubleheader standard to play two shortened games.

The last time the Hawks were rained out was at Everett in 2007.

Boise is 3-3 on the young season. Their pitching staff ranks second in the Northwest League with a 3.23 ERA through six games.
