Mike Mayock, an analyst from the NFL Network, spoke on a conference call regarding the upcoming NFL Draft on Thursday.
With cornerback Jamar Taylor garnering more attention than any other draft-eligible Boise State player this year, Mayock had this to say about the projected early-round pick:
"I’ve got Jamar Taylor at number 51 in my top 100. I think he’s a mid-second round pick. He’s got quick feet, he’ll tackle and like most Boise players he’s tough and understands the game of football. I think Jamar Taylor is a starting cornerback in the NFL and I really like him."
Mayock will release his first and only mock draft in the coming days.
The 2013 NFL Draft will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York, April 25-27.
