Boise State adds Troy to football schedule in 2017 and 2018

The Boise State football program announced the addition of Troy University (Ala.) to their 2017 and 2018 football schedules on Tuesday.

Troy will visit Bronco Stadium on Sept. 2, 2017, with Boise State returning the favor on Sept. 1, 2018 with a trip to Veterans Memorial Stadium in Alabama.

By adding Troy, the Broncos have now completed their 2017 non-conference schedule:

Sept. 2 - vs Troy
Sept. 9 - at Washington State
Sept. 23 - vs Virginia
Oct. 7 - at BYU

Troy, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, posted an overall record of 5-7 in 2012, but head coach Larry Blakeney has guided them to 15 winning seasons in 22 years at the helm.
