Jay’s Jargon: Drmic and Marks continue to score, but Broncos miss Elorriaga

- Boise State dropped to 0-2 this season without Jeff Elorriaga in the starting lineup.

- For the first time this season, not a single player on the Boise State roster shot 50-percent or better from the field in a game.

- Boise State entered the game ranked third in the NCAA in three-point field goal percentage (42.1%), but shot just 4-of-19 from behind the arc against Nevada. It marked their second worst performance of the season (Worst: vs Louisiana, 4-of-20).

- Both Anthony Drmic (23) and Derrick Marks (11) scored in double-figures against Nevada. Drmic has now scored 10-or-more points in nine consecutive games, the longest such streak in his career.

- After the game Drmic talked with both play-by-play analyst  Bob Behler and color commentator Abe Jackson about injuries and the lack of depth the Broncos have because of them. Drmic mentioned that the added minutes begin to take their toll late in games when the Broncos need a defensive stop. Since Mountain West play began, Drmic is averaging 36.2 minutes a night.

- Marks went 3-for-3 from the free-throw line against Nevada and has now made 16 straight attempts over the last three games. He also set a career-high for free-throw attempts in a season with 118 (shot 117 last season).

- Mikey Thompson (11 points) scored in double-figures for the eighth time this season. He also attempted a career-high 16 shots (Previous high: vs Utah, 15).
