Shoemaker inks free-agent contract with Chiefs
Former Boise State wide receiver Tyler Shoemaker agreed to a free-agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday.
Shoemaker originally signed with Tampa Bay after he did not hear his name called in the 2012 NFL Draft, but was cut by the Bucs during training camp.
As a senior at Boise State in 2011, Shoemaker led the Broncos with 994 receiving yards and set the single-season school record with 16 touchdown catches.
