Eagle-native Lauren Lenhardt claims MW Player of the Week honors… again
Boise State senior forward Lauren Lenhardt earned Mountain West Co-Player of the Week honors on Monday after leading the Broncos to a 70-68 upset over Wyoming last week.
Lenhardt, who graduated from Eagle High School, hit a three-pointer with 20 seconds left in the game to put the Broncos up, 69-68. She finished the night with 18 points, three blocks and a team-high 10 rebounds.
This is the third time this season Lenhardt has been tabbed player of the week, making her the second Bronco is history to earn such honors that many times in a single-season.
Lenhardt and the Broncos will travel to Albuquerque on Wednesday to face New Mexico at 7:00 p.m.
