Boise State runningback D.J. Harper was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week by the Mountain West Conference following his historic performance against Miami (OH) on Saturday.
Harper totaled up a career-high four total touchdowns and 162 yards rushing in the Broncos 39-12 victory over the Redhawks.
The sixth-year senior’s 21-yard reception at the back of the endzone in the first quarter got the scoring started for Boise State, as he added touchdown runs of 1, 11 and 43 yards.
Harper shares the honors this week with Fresno State runningback Robbie Rouse. The Bulldog senior rushed for 144 yards on just nine carries in a 69-14 win over Colorado.
