Bronco Nation, get out your calendars. Boise State announced on Monday that the Broncos’ 2013 date with Washington has been moved up. The Broncos had been scheduled to play the Huskies on Sept. 7, but that game has been moved up to August 31.
The game will be the first in the newly-renovated Husky Stadium.
Bronco head coach Chris Petersen commented on the 2013 season, saying in a released statement: “The 2013 schedule is going to be one of the toughest, if not the toughest, schedule in school history.” Coach Pete cited road games at UW and BYU, as well as a home game against Southern Miss and the Big East conference schedule as reasons to respect 2013.
Revenge will be on the minds of the Broncos and their fans when they open 2013. The last time BSU played Washington (in Seattle), the Huskies beat the Broncos 24-10.
BSU also announced Monday that the Broncos will host Tennessee-Martin on Sept. 7 of 2013.
